1. Data controller

2. Information processed

Quizaday does not require registration and currently has no contact forms, newsletters, comments or user profiles. Systems delivering the site may process technical information such as IP addresses, request dates and times, requested URLs, browser and device information, referrers and technical identifiers needed for content delivery, security and diagnostics.

If you contact us by email, we process your address, message and any information you choose to provide so that we can respond.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• Site delivery and security: making pages and quizzes available, preventing abuse and investigating technical problems, based on our legitimate interest in operating a secure, functioning service.
• Enquiries: responding to requests, taking steps you ask us to take or pursuing our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
• Privacy preferences: remembering the privacy choices you expressly save through Manage cookies.
• Optional measurement: measuring visits and quiz interactions through Google Analytics 4, based on consent.

4. Vercel hosting

Vercel hosts and distributes the static site and may process technical data and logs to deliver, secure and diagnose the service. Quizaday's application does not load Vercel Analytics or Speed Insights.

5. Juga.io quizzes

Interactive quizzes use Juga.io's CDN, API and widget, operated by Juga Entertainment. When you open or play a quiz, your browser communicates with these services and transmits technical information and game interactions, including the requested quiz and gameplay events needed by the service.

The widget uses browser session storage to retain game state during your browsing session. This supports the continuity of the game; it is not an advertising or analytics consent category. Quizaday does not create personal user profiles from quiz answers or reproduce the widget's scoring logic.

6. Analytics, advertising and consent

With your consent, Google Analytics 4 measures visits and quiz starts, completions, replays and successful sharing actions. Google may process technical device and browser information, IP addresses and cookie identifiers. The custom quiz events contain only a quiz ID, quiz type and question count; they do not contain your answers, result text, name, email address or sharing recipients. The site removes query strings and URL fragments from the page address sent to Analytics and sends only the referrer's origin.

The Google tag is blocked until Analytics consent is granted. Rejecting or withdrawing consent disables further Analytics collection; the site removes its GA4 cookies when consent is withdrawn. Previously collected information is not automatically erased by withdrawal. Google Signals and advertising personalisation signals are disabled in the Analytics configuration.

With Analytics consent, sessionStorage records whether an attempt has started or finished, so reloading a quiz does not send duplicate events. These records contain only state flags, not your answers or result, and are removed on withdrawal.

Google AdSense advertising is not currently activated on Quizaday.

Quizaday uses its own privacy preferences panel. It does not use the consent message configured for the separate Italian site. Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights are not activated.

Use Manage cookies to review or change your choices at any time. Games remain available if you reject optional services.

7. Search

Pagefind searches a static index locally in your browser; it does not send search queries to an external search engine. A query included in the URL's q parameter may appear in browser history and normal technical request logs. Avoid entering personal or sensitive information in search.

8. Recipients and international processing

Information may be processed by providers needed for hosting and interactive quizzes, and Google for optional Analytics, within their respective roles, or disclosed when required by law. Providers may use infrastructure outside the European Economic Area. Applicable transfer safeguards depend on the provider and processing involved; this notice does not assert unverified hosting locations or transfer arrangements.

9. Retention

We retain information we manage directly for as long as necessary for the stated purposes, security and legal obligations. Providers' technical information is subject to their applicable policies and settings. We do not specify provider retention periods that have not been verified. The preference saved by this site remains in your browser until you replace it or clear site data; game session storage is managed by your browser's session lifecycle.

Analytics retention is governed by the settings of Quizaday's dedicated Google Analytics property and Google's applicable policies. Contact us for information about the settings applicable to a request.

10. Your rights

Where provided by the GDPR, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, object to processing and withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. To exercise your rights, write to info@unquizalgiorno.com. We may ask for information strictly necessary to verify your identity and handle the request.

You may lodge a complaint with the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD) or the competent authority in your country of residence.
